You can browse without an account. Search and shelf filters run in your browser; we do not save your book searches.

Optional visit analytics

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives page views, book-link clicks, signup-request counts, and reading engagement, along with technical browser information. We remove page query strings and fragments from the page address sent to analytics and do not send email addresses, form values, or book-search text. Analytics cookies help distinguish visits. Advertising personalization is disabled.

Analytics is off until you allow it. You can change your choice using . We store that choice in your browser and respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Read Google’s privacy policy.

The monthly reading list

When you join, your email address and consent request are sent to Klaviyo, our email service. Confirm your address using the email sent to you to join the Bearers of the Name Press monthly reading list. This is separate from the He Feeds Dinosaurs update list. We use the address to send the reading list and manage your subscription. Every reading-list email includes an unsubscribe link; you can also contact us to unsubscribe or request deletion.

The signup form sends information to Klaviyo only when you submit it. It does not load Klaviyo’s website-tracking script. Klaviyo also receives technical request information needed to process the signup. See Klaviyo’s privacy notice.

Services used to display the site

Our hosting providers receive technical request information such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser information to serve the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives connection information when those fonts are requested. See Google’s privacy policy.

Links to Amazon and other sites

Following an external link takes you to another website with its own privacy practices. If affiliate tracking is active, Amazon links include our tracking ID so Amazon can attribute qualifying purchases. Amazon may use cookies and other technologies under its privacy notice. We do not receive your payment details through these links.
